[THE BRIEF]
Nexio (created by Jake & Charlie Gordon) is a revolutionary crypto technology that allows developers to build applications on top of the Bitcoin Blockchain. To bring this technology to the masses they needed a cool website.
[THE MISSION]
The mission was to create an interactive and unique website that fits in the meme-driven world of crypto. One way of doing this was to focus on creating a mascot -> Nexio Frigde. While creating the fridge we thought about how we can connect this mascot idea with the concept of crypto -> from this the assembly line idea was born. Both a fridge and crypto applications have to be build from scratch.
[THE PROCESS]
Starting from the conceptualisation with the client we started working on the Brand Design - the fridge mascot, colors, typography, etc. While Joe was working on that, I started creating the first draft of how the assembly line should look / work. With this concept in mind we created 5 Stations (each refering to one content block). To spice things up all of the stations were animated by Radi. Last step was to put everything together with the help of Dominic.
[THE RESULT]
The end result is a highly unique, interactive and playful B2B website that not only gives a good overview about what Nexio is but - and this is much more important - it creates an emotional connection with the developers and crypto producers. By playing with the idea of assembling the fridge we created the nostalgia of playing around with lego that a lot of people in the crypto space have.
[THE IMPACT]
Through this website Nexio becomes a household name in the world of DeFi & the crypto space. By going public with a thought-through branding, a highly unique website and a meme-able mascot, Nexio has made a big first impression.
[THE FUTURE]
Following this project we will add on to the Nexio Universe. Stay tuned for that!
